Sockeye Salmon Fishing

Alaska Fishing Lodge & Cabins on the Kenai River

COME STAY at one of our two (2) deluxe riverfront vacation cabins which are located on the famous Kenai River near Sterling, Alaska. Lodging and guided trophy rainbow trout fly fishing is our specialty along with unguided shore fishing for sockeye salmon. Whether you're looking for some serious outdoor activities, like salmon and trophy rainbow trout fishing, bear viewing, or just a place to kick back and enjoy some magnificent scenery and wildlife, our Kenai River lodge and rental cabins are the perfect base camp for your Alaskan adventure.

When your day of fishing or sightseeing is over, sit back and watch the river go by, join your friends in telling fish stories around the firepit, or enjoy a barbequed fresh salmon fillet on the cabins' grill. It just doesn't get any better than that!

Our fishing oriented cabins are centrally located near Sterling, Alaska, on the Kenai Peninsula which is a short (2.2 hour) drive from Anchorage along beautiful Cook Inlet and through scenic mountains to the heart of Kenai Peninsula's outdoor attractions. Although famous for it's giant Chinook (king) salmon, the Kenai River is also the home of Sockeye (red) salmon, Coho (silver) salmon, pink salmon, dolly varden and trophy rainbow trout in excess of 30 inches. When making reservations, let us know your fishing interests as our waterfront has perhaps the best unguided salmon shore fishing on the Kenai River. Fully guided fly-fishing from drift or power boats is also available by our local guides. Other options include fly out day trips for salmon or trout and a day of saltwater fishing for halibut.
